Last Saturday, November 15th, Grupeixe was present at the Auchan Academy in Alfragide, in a workshop dedicated to learning about the various sizes and ways of cutting the cod, as well as the correct soaking process and the various possible preparations.

The following dishes were featured in this event:

  • Codfish cooked in a traditional press;
  • Codfish roe stew with offal;
  • Fried pork neck with tomato and coriander rice;
  • Codfish French toast in Port Wine.

A cheerful and friendly gathering, dedicated to learning about the great protagonist of Portuguese cuisine: codfish.

The first of many, as we will soon be in Almada, Aveiro and Maia for more initiatives with Chef José Serrano!
