From August 12 to 16, Ílhavo once again celebrated one of the greatest symbols of its identity and tradition: codfish. The Codfish Festival once again brought together gastronomy, culture, music, sports, and entertainment in an event that has become a regional landmark.

Grupeixe was, once again, a regular presence at this celebration, showcasing its codfish at one of the region’s most important events while simultaneously strengthening its ties to the local community. This was made possible through partnerships with Grupo Desportivo da Gafanha, the Rancho Regional da Casa do Povo de Ílhavo, and the Grupo de Jovens A TULHA, three groups that helped make this experience even more special.

This participation reflects Grupeixe’s commitment to valuing and supporting the people and associations that shape Ílhavo’s identity and contribute daily to the community’s vitality and strengh. For Grupeixe, this event is an opportunity to celebrate a product deeply rooted in the region’s history and identity, as well as to forge closer bonds with those who share this land and its values, expressing our gratitude for the partnership and all the moments shared throughout the festival.
