On October 2, Grupeixe welcomed Iceland’s Minister of Industry, Hanna Katrín Friðriksson, accompanied by a delegation of 56 people, on a visit that brought representatives from a country with a deep and historic connection to the cod industry to Ílhavo.
As a Portuguese company that is part of the Icelandic VSV Group, Grupeixe is today a meeting point between Icelandic fishing expertise and the Portuguese tradition of producing salted and dried cod.
We are grateful for this visit and the interest in our company and the work we do every day. This visit strengthens the ties between Portugal and Iceland, two countries united by the sea and cod!
